Enterprises have begun to re-focus on IT spending, and the age-old problem of over-budget and under-delivered projects comes back into focus.  In addition to unprecedented pressure to deliver on-time, on-budget projects, additional pressure points are created for CIOs, which are best to consider BEFORE undertaking a project.  CIOs must minimize risk; create realistic expectations; and manage time frames, cost, and quality of every project.

Description

Experture analysts have used our long-standing expertise to create assessment tools for individual projects, taking into account the impact they will have on one another and the enterprise. These tools, combined with our expertise, provide vital information on project risk to c-level executives and allow the CIO to reign-in runaway projects.

As part of Experture’s Full Spectrum we produce an annual Program Management Office Score Card. In addition, on a quarterly basis, we produce a quarterly case study, based on our experiences helping clients succeed, or pointing out pitfalls.

Outside of the Full Spectrum offerings, Experture can provide a number of vital functions for your IT department:

  • Review and management of “runaway” projects: this service will consider the details of a project, and determine what is needed to rationalize its completion, and align resources accordingly.

  • Program Management Office establishment: Experture analysts/consultants have deep knowledge in proven program/project management methodologies, and work with our clients to establish a Program Management Office. This will include training individual project managers in tools and concepts.

  • Additionally, as appropriate, Experture can assist in setting up a framework that enables enterprises to capture their project expertise to support reusability in their efforts.
